This morning I weighed in at 153.8, up 1.2 pounds from last week. I cooked 5 out of 7 nights last week also, but this week will not be so good because we ate out more over the long weekend.

I am not really worrying too much about my weight. I want to get feeling better before anything else. Feeling good is my number one priority at this point.

This morning I weighed 152.6, up .6 from last week. I am actually surprised that I hadn't gained more weight than just 6 tenths of a pound. I have managed to cook at home most nights, 5 out of 7. We did go out for breakfast on my husband's birthday. And for his birthday there was cake and ice cream, but hey, you gotta have birthday cake, right?

This morning my weight was 152.0. This is down .8 form last week, woot! woot! I am completely surprised that I lost any weight at all. This past week was kinda rough, even though I managed to cook dinnner 5 nights in a row! That was quite the accomplishment, especially since I haven't been feeling as good as I had hoped.

Weight was never an issue for me until after I quit smoking the year I turned 40. It's never too late to quit smoking, but I would suggest doing it earlier as opposed to later, for many reasons.

It probably didn't help that we (my husband quit at the same time as I did) rewarded ourselves with pie a lot. We would say "we haven't had a cigarette in X number of days, so let's go get some pie", and off we would go to the store to buy pie and ice cream, or cheesecake, or whatever sweet treat that caught our eye. We didn't just get a piece, we would get a whole pie, or cake.
